Slice the flank steak thinly against the grain. Set aside.
In a small bowl or glass measuring cup, combine the soy sauce, sweetener, garlic, crushed red pepper flakes, and sesame oil. Add steak to a large bowl or zip-top bag and pour the sauce overtop. Toss the meat in the sauce until well coated. Marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
