  • ½ cup onion, chopped
  • ½ medium red bell pepper, chopped
  • 3 medium jalapeños, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon chili powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 1 cup pepper jack cheese, shredded

  • In a large pot over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Transfer the bacon to a paper towel-lined plate, reserving the bacon grease.
